Rutland–Melton International CiCLE Classic
The Rutland - Melton International Cicle Classic ( also East Midland Classic) is a British road cycling.
The race was held in 2005 for the first time and place each year since the end of April. The start is located in Oakham and the target is in Melton Mowbray in the East Midlands. The race is characterized by its off-road sections and short steep ascents, similar to Paris -Roubaix and the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Since 2005, the one-day race is one of the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 1.2. So far, no driver won the race twice for itself.
