East Midlands

East Midlands is one of nine regions of England and consists of most of the East Midlands.

Larger cities in East Midlands

The largest cities are Derby, Leicester and Nottingham, where the council is based. Between these cities is the East Midlands Airport. The region is connected to the high-speed trains of the Midland Main Line to London. In addition, the M1 motorway runs through the region.
