Gustav Erik Larsson ( born September 20, 1980 in Gemla in Växjö ) is a Swedish racing driver.

Career

Gustav Erik Larsson began his career in 2001 with the team Crescent. He won in his first year a stage of the Tour of Brandenburg and repeated it the following year. He also won a stage in the Ringerike GP 2002. In 2003, the excellent time trialist to the Italian cycling team Fassa Bortolo. Under Giancarlo Ferretti he drove for three years. In 2006, Larsson went for the French ProTour team Française des Jeux, 2007, he was active for the Swedish team Unibet.com. For the 2008 season, the Swede moved to the Danish Team CSC- Saxo Bank.

His greatest achievements are the fourth place in the time trial at the Road Cycling World Championship 2004 in Verona and winning the silver medal in the time trial at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and on the road Cycling Championships 2009 in Mendrisio. 2010 Larsson won the last stage of the Giro, an individual time trial.
