Tower Fall

The Tower Fall is a waterfall in the north of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, United States. The water of the Tower Creek crashes there almost 40 m (132 ft. ) in depth.

The Tower Fall is in the process of Tower Creek just before its confluence with the Yellowstone River. He was executed in 1870 by Samuel T. Hauser, a participant of the Washburn - Langford - Doane Expedition, so named due to the volcanic spiers on either side of the water fall. In spring, the amount of water of the waterfall is ten times higher than in the fall.

Already the earliest travelers in the Yellowstone area mentioned the Tower case. Be first painted Thomas Moran in 1871 or 1872 a picture of him that was to come later fame.
