Trabant (Band)

Trabant is an Icelandic electroclash musical group that was originally founded in 2001 as a duo of Þorvaldur Gröndal and Viðar H. Gíslason, but is now grown to a quintet.

Their debut album Moment of Truth was released in 2001 and made it popular in Iceland. Three years later, a live album that was recorded at a party of Iceland Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson President in his official residence in Bessastaðir. After Nasty Boy was a successful club hit, they reached the second studio album Emotional ( 2005), the top ten of the Icelandic charts.
