Trace Bundy

Trace Bundy ( * 1977 in Austin, Minnesota) is an American acoustic guitarist, which occurs mainly in Boulder, Colorado and also lives there. Before he became a musician, he worked at the University of Boulder, where he studied from 2000 to 2003 mechanical engineering.

Biography

Trace Bundy moved with his parents to Buena Vista ( Colorado), where he came up with about eleven years for the first time with a guitar in touch. Since he had no money to take lessons to Bundy playing brought about the songs of Metallica and Def Leppard in itself. At age eleven, he wrote his first piece, which is the only title on which he sings.

Later, Bundy began to take an interest in music theory. He worked out his own theories that he, for example, Trace 's called Seventh chord theory. In college, he took a course in music theory and found his own earlier findings confirmed if named something else.

In high school, he met Jonah Werner, an acoustic folk songwriter, with whom he played Jackopierce and other folk songs. Later he teamed up with Tim Thornton from Newcomers Home, together with whom he worked on old Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens songs.

His style began to change when he found out that he could play without pick and with ten fingers more complex music. Since then, Trace Bundy continued to work from changing his style of music.

Bundy's Music

Bundy is in his particular field of music known as " The Acoustic Ninja " since it the technique of tapping - has perfected - a special variety of the guitar without a pick. Publications

In 2000, he released his first album Solomon's Splendor, the 2004 Kombinations-CD/DVD Adapt followed. The DVD is a live recording of a performance in Boulder in the summer of 2004. Portions thereof are an adaptation of the Backstreet Boys hit I want it that way and his own interpretation of the classic Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel on the acoustic guitar.
