Trångsviken

Trångsviken is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic county of Jämtland.

The place in the community Krokom is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Östersund on the European road 14 and the lake Storsjön. Through the village, one of the parish Alsen, the railway line Mittbanan runs from Östersund to Trondheim.

The town was founded around 1880. Among the companies established here the spirit stove manufacturer Trangia is mentioned.
