Transamerica Tower (Baltimore)

The Transamerica Tower, formerly the Legg Mason Building, is a skyscraper in Baltimore, Maryland. It is 161 meters high and has 40 floors. It was completed in 1973 and has since become the tallest building in Baltimore and Maryland ( height up to the roof).

After previously served as Legg Mason, Inc., it was renamed in 2011 in Transamerica Tower after the company Transamerica uses the building. Since then, the headquarters of Legg Mason, Inc. is located in the new Legg Mason Tower, which was completed in 2009 and is also located in Baltimore. In 2010, the former Legg Mason lettering has been removed.
