Transport museum

Museum of Transport is the name of museums that are dedicated to the exhibition of vehicles, a transport infrastructure, associated buildings and traffic engineering. The exhibits are often based on regional characteristics, mode of transport, or limited to a historical epoch. Special forms of transport museums are car museums, railway museums, heritage railways, tramway museums, aviation museums, motorcycle museums, maritime museums and museum ships. Transport museums are often integrated next to a department of art museums.
