Trashigang District
Trashigang ( བཀྲ་ཤིས་སྒང ) is one of the 20 districts of Bhutan. In this district about 54 591 people. The area covers 2171 km ² Trashigang.
The capital of the district is the same Trashigang.

Economy
In the district of Trashigang rice and lavender are produced for agricultural purposes before all things. The district was a part of the important trade route between Assam and Tibet, and is still an important link to economic trade with India. The district is the Yongphulla airport.
