Treaty of Valençay

The Treaty of Valençay was signed between the French and the Spaniards on December 11, 1813 Castle Valençay.

Due to the defeats in the Peninsular War, Napoleon Bonaparte was forced Ferdinand VII to reinstate as King of Spain, and to make peace. The negotiations began on 20 November 1813 Valençay Castle, the residence of Ferdinand VII during its establishment by Napoleon.
