Třebětice (Kroměříž District)

Třebětice ( German Trebietitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-west of Holešov and belongs to Okres Kroměříž.

Geography

Třebětice is located in the southeast of the Upper Moravian Valley ( Hornomoravský úval ). The village is located on the left side of the Rusava on a slight hill between the river and the creek Žabínek. Hulin, at the Třebětice has a train station - on the southern outskirts of the village the railway line Valašské Meziříčí runs. East of the village created the expressway R 49; behind it is the site of the former airfield Holešov on which an industrial area to be built.

Neighboring towns are Količín in the north, Všetuly in the northeast, Alexovice and Marti Nice in the east, Nový Dvůr Čmelův Mlýn, Zahnašovice and Ludslavice the southeast, Kurovice in the south, Kamenecký Mlýn and Chrášťany the southwest, Hulin in the west and Pravčice in the northwest.

History

The Angersdorf Třebětice built in the 13th century on a hill between the flood and swamp areas of Rusava and Mojena, which also provided a natural protection against the incursions of the Golden Horde. Originally, the village of ten houses. The first written mention of the village was in 1339, when the Vladike Beneš Hus Good Kurovice be sold with the villages Trebeticz and Kurovice at the Olomouc Bishop Jan Volek. Other forms of the name were Třebětice ( 1408), Treby ( 1464 ), Střebětice ( 1481 ), Trzebieticz ( 1512) and Trziebieticze ( 1554 ). The inhabitants lived from breeding of pigs that were held in the shallow marshes between Třebětice and Količín particular. In the 16th century the village was protected from the south by a gate, in the other directions it was surrounded by ponds and swamps. Following the 17th century draining of wetlands and agriculture and the breeding of cattle and horses was possible. Acquired in 1650 by Johann Rottalblick the episcopal Good Střeběnice and opened it his rule to Holešov. In 1751, the village was called Stržebetitz. After the extinction of the race from the red valley heritage in 1762 by Franz Anton Rott valley son Maximilian Franz Nádasdy fell, who sold the rule of the Counts Erdődy. At the end of the 18th century was the village of 30 houses and had about 450 inhabitants. Until the mid- 19th century, the city remained subservient always Holešov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Střebetice / Strzebietitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Holešov. In the same years was built on the Mojena the water mill Kamenec, a little later, the mills Vajzar and Chytil were still built. 1858 sold the counts Erdődy their goods in Holešov with all accessories to the Counts of Vrbno. From 1872, the municipality used the name Trebetice. The village school was built in 1874. 1880 was built south of the village the railway from Hulin after Holešov that passed without stopping. As of 1881, the community was called Třebětice and from 1893 as Střebětice. In 1887 the construction of a church was carried out on the village green. 1921 lived in 60 houses in the village 460 people. At that time it was converted the goods Grunt. Since 1924 the church has the name Třebětice. 1944 was a field east of the village airfield the police, which was developed in the 1950s for military airfield Holešov. In 1948, in Alexovice an agricultural cooperative and the estate became the state property Grunt. The Good Mansko was demolished. In 1960, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Kroměříž. The school in Třebětice closed in 1977. 1985 Třebětice was incorporated into Holešov. 1988, work began on the construction of a station on the ČSD. Since 1989 Třebětice is a separate municipality again. After the 2004 decision taken to close the airfield Holešov and construction of a 360 -hectare industrial area the project in was taken out by the government in the list of national strategic projects. In March 2009, the airfield ceased operation and after completion of the infrastructure of the first investor in 2010 was announce. Also under construction is the running between the village and the future industrial area expressway R 49
