Spectacled Bear ( Tremarctos ornatus )

The short snout bears ( Tremarctinae ) are a subfamily of bears. The short snout bears were previously spread across North and in northern South America. Today, they are as the short-faced bear ( Arctodus simus ) and Tremarctos floridanus largely extinct.
