Trina Solar

Trina Solar is a Chinese company located in Jiangsu province and numerous offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia, which is recorded in the solar stock index PPVX and listed on the NYSE since 2006. It was founded in December 1997 by Jifan Gao and serves the development and production of ingots, wafers, solar cells and solar modules. In recent years, it was repeated on the Fortune 100 list of fastest growing companies throughout the globe (2011 to 18th place ). Trina Solar is pursuing a vertically integrated business model, which summarizes the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the finished solar modules at one location. The end of 2011, the company had installed claims to world solar modules with a total capacity of 1.9 GW.
