Trinh Nhu Khue Cardinal Joseph Marie ( born December 11, 1898 in Trang Due, Vietnam, † November 27, 1978 in Hanoi ) was Archbishop of Hanoi.

Life

Joseph Marie Trinh Nhu Khue received after the study of Catholic theology on 1 April 1933, the sacrament of Holy Orders, and then worked as a parish pastor.

1950 Pope Pius XII appointed him. Titular Bishop of Synaus and Vicar Apostolic of Hanoi. Pope John XXIII. appointed him in 1960 for the first Archbishop of the newly founded Archdiocese of Hanoi. Joseph Marie Trinh Nhu Khue was established in 1976 by ​​Pope Paul VI. taken as a cardinal priest with the titular church of San Francesco di Paola dei Calabresi in the College of Cardinals. He took the oldest Cardinal elector part in two conclaves of 1978 and died on November 27 of the same year in Hanoi. He was buried in the local cathedral.
