Triumvirat

Triumvirate is a rock band from Germany, founded in 1969 by Jürgen Fritz, Hans Bathelt and Dick W. Frangenberg.

She played progressive rock, inspired by the style of Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Focus. From the beginning, dominated composer and keyboardist Jürgen Fritz the band. In 1976, he stated, for example " triumvirate is no longer a band, but only my business, the vehicle for my music," separated from the rest of the group and sat now on only on guest musicians. The answer came immediately by Hans Bathelt, the court secured the rights to the name of the group. Fritz therefore had to rename " New Triumvirate " his band for his next album.
