Trond Brænne

Trond Brænne ( born July 31, 1953 in Oslo, † March 16, 2013 ) was a Norwegian actor and author.

Life

Brænne began in 1974 as a student at Det Norske Teatret occur. He was then engaged from 1977 to 1996 established as a theater actor. His first starring role as David in Mot Raudt lys (counter red light) by Yvonne Keuls. At the annual open-air theater Maridalsspillet ( Historical game ) on the ruins of the Margaretakirken ( Margaret 's Church ) in Maridalen in Oslo, he was actively involved from 1974 until his death as a stage actor and director.

From the mid- 1990s Brænne put the focus of his work on children 's literature. He has also published numerous radio plays and wrote as a poet lyrics. In 2009 he published his work on the record Bamsen braid and he was nominated in the same year for the Norwegian music award Spellemannprisen in the category of children 's literature. In 2010 he was nominated for a literary prize Brageprisen in the same division.

Brænne has also worked as a film actor in numerous roles and in many Norwegian film and television productions. His first film appearance in 1979 in the film Kronprinsen in the role as a board member; From 2005 he also appeared in the film series as Commissioner Isaksen Astle Teng, which were filmed after the series of crime novels by the writer Unni Lindell Cato Isaaksen. Several appearances as Basse, the father of Kjell, he had from 2001 to 2009 in the film series of the Norwegian Junior Olsen Gang.

He lived with the Norwegian writer, stage designer, illustrator and graphic artist Iben Sandemose. His daughter Kaia Brænne is also active as a writer, his son Bendik Brænne is a well-known Norwegian singer, songwriter and saxophonist. Suffered several heart attacks in 1999 Brænne that ultimately led to a heart transplant. After successful surgery and subsequent recovery, he was until his death continue to professionally very active. On March 15, 2013 Brænne broke while working well together because of a caused by a rupture of a cerebral blood vessel stroke. Despite intensive medical treatment Brænne died the following day. His urn was placed after a cremation on 2 April 2013 Haslum.
