Troy de Haas

Troy de Haas ( born June 15, 1979) is an Australian orienteer.

De Haas was third in 1999 on the long distance at the Junior World Championships. In the same year the Australian had also his first world championship use in Scotland. He finished in the middle distance the 45th place. In the next few years he was able to steadily improve its performance. At the World Championships in Japan in 2005 came to seventh place in the sprint.

In 2001 he won the Jukola Relay with the Finnish club Turun Suunnistajat. He was the first non-European to win at the traditional relay race in Finland. Later he moved to the clubs Turun Metsänkävijät and Rasti - Kurikka.
