TRU (group)
Tru is an American hip hop group of the record label No Limit Records. The members are Master P, Silkk The Shocker and C- Murder.
Career
Tru was founded by Master P and occupied it with his two younger brothers, Silkk The Shocker and C- Murder. With her debut album True 1995 they were very successful and were able to sell over 200,000 copies without much publicity or airplay. It thus helped greatly with this, No Limit Records to establish himself in the music scene. In 1997, after the second album of the group, Tru 2 Da Game, started a big buzz around the label and made a member and founder of the label, as well as owners Master P into a superstar, so the third album due to its many obligations only could appear in 1999 - the two-year waiting period after the previous time was extremely long in relation to the frequency of No Limit releases.
