Trübtensee

The Trübtensee is a mountain lake in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

Location

The Trübtensee located in the municipality Guttannen to 2365 m asl above the Grimsel Lake and has a capacity of 1.1 million m3.

Use

The water of the Trübtensees is taken up by a water catchment and used by the electricity companies Grimsel 1, Handeck 2, 3 and Handeck Innertkirchen 1.
