True Symphonic Rockestra

True Symphonic Rockestra is a musical project with vocalist James LaBrie of Dream Theater. He is accompanied by the tenors Vladimir Grishko and Thomas Dewald.

The idea behind the album was to bring together three world-class singers to ( Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras ) perform rock versions from the repertoire of the three tenors, so as to associate heavy metal with operatic elements. This idea was realized in July 2006 with the recording of the first album.

This first, and so far only, album, Concerto in True Minor, was released on March 28, 2008 under a new label, a collaboration between Brainrox Records from Germany and Marin Sound Records from Russia. Sony BMG takes over the distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
