Tryvannstårnet

Tryvannstarnet is the name of the 1962 built 118 meter high TV Tower of Oslo. The Tryvannstarnet has height of 60 meters a viewing platform from which one in good weather the view to the Swedish border has. The tower was open to the public until 2004, but was closed due to new fire regulations on 1 January 2005 for visitors. A reopening would be associated with high investment costs.

In the basement of the tower there is an extensive bunker systems.
