Trzebnickie Hills

The Cat Mountains ( Polish Wzgórza Trzebnickie, colloquially Kocie Gory ) is up almost 257 m high mountain range in southwestern Poland.
Geography
The mountain range is located in the Province of Lower Silesia in the central portion of the country Trebnitzer back ( Wał Trzebnicki ). There he lies between the Oder in the south west and the Barycz ( Bartsch ) in the north, about 20 kilometers north of Wrocław, just south and east and west of Trzebnica.

Name
In addition to the popular terms Cats mountains or Katzenberge exist or existed in the German a number of other names, such as Trebnitzer Mountains, Trebnitzer mountains, hills Trebnitzer, Trebnitzer heights, Trebnitzer cats Mountains, the (now Trzebnica ) refer to the location Trebnitzgrund. The colloquial Polish version Kocie Gory is literal equivalent of "Cat Mountain ".

The hilly landscape is one of the venues and namesake of the novel Katzenberge by Sabrina Janesch.
