Tsem Tulku

TSEM Tulku Rinpoche (birth name: Torgut Prince Iska Minh, born 1965 in Taipei ) is a Tulku of the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ).

Life

Torgut Prince Iska Minh was born the son of a Tibetan exile and a Mongolian princess in Taipei. As a 7 -year-old, he migrated with his parents to New Jersey. There he met his first Guru Sermey Khensur Lobsang Tharchin (1921-2004) and also received teachings from the 14th Dalai Lama and Ling Rinpoche. He received further spiritual support at the age of 14 years by Geshe Thubten Tsultim Gyeltsen in Dharma Dhargye Ling in California, where he was also recognized by Zong Rinpoche Tulku TSEM. According to Zong Rinpoche's instructions TSEM Tulku completed his monastic education in exile Ganden Monastery.

In 1987 TSEM Tulku received full ordination from the 14th Dalai Lama at the age of 22 years. Since 1992 TSEM Tulku lives as a Dharma teacher in Malaysia and has been working this time for the construction of a Dharmainstituten. One of the institutions founded by him is known as Kechara House. TSEM Tulku applies as a direct reincarnation of a disciple of the reformer Tsongkhapa Tulku and as the 60th abbot of Ganden Shartsey, Khensur Gendun Nyedrak. The Salutation based on comparable religious dignitaries is: His Eminence Tulku Rinpoche TSEM.

The teachings TSEM tulkus are characteristic of the style of teaching, which is known among Western students or non- Buddhists as "crazy wisdom ". As "crazy wisdom " in this context is to understand the external behavior, that would be described under the social conventions as crazy, flashy or not normal, but after closer examination of the intention and motivation makes sense, transformative impact on the students. For charitable purposes and the establishment of the Buddhist doctrine was founded by TSEM Tulku in support of his pupils the Kechara organization, which is divided into twelve sub-divisions now.
