TSV 1861 Nördlingen

The TSV 1861 Nördlingen is a German multi-genre club in the Swabian town of Nördlingen. It was originally founded in 1861 as a TV Nördlingen. Since the merger with the football club VfR Nördlingen in 1938, it got its present name. The greatest athletes from the ranks of the Association is the former German footballer Gerd Muller, who already at TSV his goalscoring gave proof ( only 180 goals in the season 1962/63 ). With FC Bayern Munich, which he joined in the summer of 1964, Müller has won numerous national and international titles and became the all-time record scorer in the Bundesliga.
