TSV Trebgast

The TSV Trebgast is a sports club based in the Upper Franconian village of Trebgast. In addition to the formerly successful football department the sports karate, hiking and ladies gym are offered in the club. There is also a protecting group and a division of Carnival friends.

History

The club was founded in 1920 as a gymnastics club. Even before the First World War, football was played in the club. After the war he was first in ASV Trebgast, then renamed TSV Trebgast. The greatest success in its history recorded the club in the late 1970s with his football department when he became a master of the country's League North in the Bavarian League and reached the same in the first year there in seventh place. After four years in the top Bavarian league in 1981 it went back again. This was followed by a slow but steady decline. In the 2013/14 season, the club plays in the A-Class.
