Tuatha Na Gael is the debut album of Irish Celtic metal band Cruachan.

History

After Cruachan signed a contract in early 1994 with the German label Nazgul 's Eyrie Productions, the debut album was recorded from 8 to 12 February, 1995. In addition to the normal line-up of the band, also Niamh Hanlon ( uilleann pipes ) and Paul nucleus (background vocals) worked as a guest musician on the album. On 30 April 1995 the Celtic Beltaine Festival, Tuatha Na Gael was published. Since the label was very small and the album sold surprisingly well, it was relatively quickly sold out, which is why it was re- released in 2001 by Hammerheart Records and 2004. In the two re-releases of the songs of the Promo '97 were appended as bonus tracks.

The cover was designed by John O'Fathaigh.

Title list

All songs were composed by Cruachan. The texts were written by Keith Fay, except Táin Bó Cuailgne.
