Tudor Walters

Sir John Tudor Walters PC ( * 1866 or 1868; † July 16, 1933 ) was a British politician of the Liberal Party.

Life

Walters was first elected for the Liberal Party on 12 January 1906 as Member of Parliament in the House of Commons and represented there by his re-election at the general election of 14 December 1918 to 15 November 1922 Sheffield Brightside constituency. In 1912 he was elevated to knighthood longer wore the suffix " Sir ". During his membership of Parliament he was between October 1919 and October 1922 Paymaster General ( Paymaster General ) in the government of Prime Minister David Lloyd George.

In the general election of 30 May 1929 he was again elected in the constituency of Penryn and Falmouth in the House of Commons and was part of this until October 27, 1931. Between September and November 1931 he was in the government of Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald again Paymaster General.
