Tuheitia Paki

Tuheitia Paki (* April 21, 1955 ) is the King of Māori, specifically the Tainui. He is the eldest son of Te Atairangikaahu and was proclaimed and crowned at her funeral on 21 August 2006 to its successor. He has not yet determined its official royal name, but it is sure that it will not be Te Arikinui, the name that was wearing his mother.

Tuheitia Paki was educated at Rakaumanga School in Huntly, at the Southwell School in Hamilton and St. Stephen 's College in Bombay Hills. Before he became king, he was a manager and cultural advisor at the University of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa in Huntly.

Tuheitia Paki is married to Te Atawhai and has three children, Whatumoana, Korotangi and Naumai.
