Turbo B

Turbo B ( born April 30, 1967 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Durron Maurice Butler ) is an American rapper and former member of SNAP!.

Life

Butler played drums in his youth. He joined the United States Army and was stationed in Friedberg ( Hessen) 1985. After the end of his military service, he toured with the Fat Boys. He published the Offenbacher label Logic Records with Moses Pelham a common single. In 1990, he was from the local music producer Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti for their project Snap! engaged as a rapper and frontman. The first single I Got the Power with the rap style Butlers became an international success. However, he fell out after the release of their second album with the producers and left the band in 1992.

Butler tried to establish a solo career and released in 1993 the album Make Way For The Maniac by Polydor, were extracted from the four singles. The following year, he founded the band Centory, which reached middle chart positions with two extractions from the published by the EMI Group Album Alpha Centory. After completion of the following on the album tour Butler left the band.

In 1999, he rapped on Victoria Silvstedts Single Rocksteady Love and also appeared in the accompanying music video. As a Snap! the following year launched a comeback attempt, Butler was brought back by the producers. However, the single Gimme a Thrill was not able to place in the charts and the project was discontinued. 2003 produced Master Blaster with Butler the single Ballet Dancer, which was also placed in Germany and Austria in the Top 40. 2005 appeared with New Day another solo single, but found no more attention.
