Turkish local elections, 1963
The local elections in Turkey in 1963, which took place on November 17th of the year, were the first elections after the military coup in 1961.
Elected were both mayors and village chiefs ( Muhtarlar ) and the provincial parliaments ( İl Genel Meclisi ). The Turkish Justice Party won, as in the parliamentary elections in 1961.
