Turrianus

Francisco Torres SJ (c. 1504 or 1509 in Herrera, Diocese of Palencia; † November 8, 1584 in Rome) was a Spanish Jesuit and Catholic theologian.

After studying at the University of Salamanca he set out as papal theologian at the Council of Trent ( 1562-63 ) a name. In 1566 he became a Jesuit and professor at the College of the Order in Rome. Torres was a prolific author, a strictly pro- papal stance related in almost all questions.
