TVes ( Televisora ​​Venezolana Social, German: social Venezuelan television, whether Teves abbreviated ) is a public television in Venezuela. TVes is from 28 May 2007 to broadcast, as it took over the transmission channels of the private television station RCTV in terrestrial VHF band and its satellite channel 104 with DirecTV. The terrestrial broadcasting license of RCTV had expired the day before.

The name TVes is a pun: " Te ves " is called in German " do you see yourself ". The slogan of the transmitter is: " Te ves como eres de verdad " ( German: "You see yourself as you really are ").
