Tweralpspitz

The Tweralpspitz is a 1,332 meter high mountain in the canton of St. Gallen, where the highest point of the town of St. Gallen Kappel. Geologically, it consists mainly of rocks of the Upper Freshwater Molasse: Nagelfluh, sandstone and marl. It is the highest and therefore the main summit north of Ricken pass where other peaks mostly little separated, respectively, are connected by ridges and would have all to be considered as a secondary peak of Tweralpspitzes.
