Tyler Hoechlin

Tyler Lee Hoechlin [ hɛklɪn ] ( born September 11, 1987 in Corona, California) is an American film actor and former child actor.

Life and career

Hoechlin has an older brother ( Travis ), one older sister (Carrie ) and a younger brother ( Tanner ). As a child, he was a member of a baseball team. From 1999 he began to make a name for himself as an actor.

He had in 2002 in Sam Mendes gangster drama Road to Perdition, in which he played the movie son of Tom Hanks, Michael Sullivan Jr., his feature film debut. More than 2,000 boys were cast before Hoechlin got the role. For his performance he won a Young Artist Award and was nominated for a Saturn Award.

Between 2003 and 2007 worked Hoechlin, among others, in the television series A heavenly family, where he took over the role of Martin Brewer. In 2008 he was seen in Daniel Myrick thriller Solstice on.

In December 2009, he was for the Teen Wolf series committed which is broadcast on MTV since 5 June 2011. In Germany, RTL II shows the series since 27 July 2013.

Hoechlin was also in 2011 in the comedy Hall Pass - to see a week without rules alongside Owen Wilson and Christina Applegate. There he played a baseball player with which Grace ( Christina Applegate ) is having an affair.
