The Tyndall Range is a mountain range in the west of the Australian state of Tasmania. It is part of the West Coast Range and is home to the state's reserve Tyndall Regional Reserve, the Cradle Mountain - Lake St. Clair National Park serves as the western buffer zone. The Tyndall Range is located north of Mount Sedgwick.

The highest point is Mount Tyndall in the northern part of the mountain range. The western flank of the mountain can be seen from the Anthony Road ( B28 ), while the plateau is devoid of roads, and can not be viewed or hiked only from the air.

In the Tyndall there are a number of glacial lakes. The larger of these are the Lake Huntley, Lake Rolleston, Lake Tyndall and Matthew Lake.

Beginning of the 20th century, the Tyndall were searched anch ores, but it never came to commercial mining.
