Mount Tyndall (Tasmania)

Mount Tyndall is a mountain in the west of the Australian state of Tasmania. It is located in the north of the West Coast Range. The surrounding highlands is called Tyndall Range, and lies at the northern end of a manufacturers own rock blocks north of Mount Sedgwick. There are also a number of glacial lakes, such as the Westwood Lake and the Lake Dora.

The mountain was named after the Irish scientist John Tyndall and mountaineers.
