Tynisha Keli

Tynisha Keli Soares ( born July 28, 1985 in Massachusetts) is an American pop singer and songwriter.

Life

Keli grew up in New Bedford and came from a very poor background. Her father was murdered when she was a year old. She left her home at age 14 and went for her music career to Los Angeles, where she began at the age of 15, singing professionally. Keli currently resides in Atlanta.

Career development

In 2002, she started her career in a girl group called " Gyrlz Society ". The band got a record deal with MCA Records. The contract expired in late 2002 and later, the band members went their separate ways. In 2006, she managed to get a record deal as a solo artist with Warner Music Group. From 2006 she recorded her first album, " The Chronicles of Tk ", which was published in 2009.
