Type 93 Air-to-Ship Missile
The Type 93 ASM -2 is a usable aircraft anti-ship missile, which was provided by the Japanese Self-Defense Forces into service in 1995. The ASM -2 is part of a family of anti-ship missiles weapons that can be fired from land, ships and from the air. They are all developments of the Type -80 ASM -1.
The ASM -2 has a Turbojetantrieb through which to twice the range of the ASM -1 and one developed by the company Fujitsu infrared seeker head.
