Typecasting (acting)
The term typecasting is - used for certain actors who not only, but always assume similar roles - mainly in the film industry, but also in the theater. In the presentation of villains, the typecasting is particularly common. But heroes often subject to typecasting. The commitment to a certain type can be for actors to dead end, when the audience always wants to see them in the same roles and it so difficult for them to expanded their range.
