Tzipi Hotovely

Tzipi Hotovely (Hebrew: ציפי חוטובלי; born December 2, 1978 in Rehovot ) is an Orthodox- national-religious Israeli politician ( Likud ), journalist and Jewish activist with Georgian roots.

Since 24 February 2009, she is member of the 18th Knesset and is the youngest person ever elected to the Knesset. Since 2006, she writes a column in the newspaper Maariw and occurs elsewhere as a media personality in appearance.

Hotovely studied law at Bar- Ilan University and Tel Aviv University. She is married to Alon Or since 2013. It is numbered among the right wing, is instrumental in the ideological shaping of the policies of their party and manifests itself regularly against the establishment of a Palestinian state.

It also shows a strong commitment to the struggle for women within Orthodoxy the rights and excited in December 2011 an international sensation when she intervened in the current debate on the demand of some religious fanatics after segregation by itself in a so-called Mehadrin - bus dropped publicity in the time allotted for men department.
