Ubisoft Red Storm

Red Storm Entertainment is a subsidiary of Ubisoft, which is on the development of computer games, most of which are based on the works of author Tom Clancy specializing. The headquarters of Red Storm is in Morrisville, North Carolina ( USA).

History

Shortly after his novel had great success hunting for Red October, Tom Clancy met in 1985, the British Royal Navy Captain Doug Littlejohns and used its technical advice for his next book entitled In the storm.

1996 decided Clancy is an entertainment software company to found and Little John asked again for advice. This eventually became president and CEO of the company.

At this time the Virtus Corporation shareholder was in the company. Once a partnership was entered into with the publishing group Pearson, Red Storm published in November 1997, his first title " Tom Clancy's Politika ". The game was settled with the same name novel.

Red Storm Entertainment's second game was the beginning of their Rainbow Six brand, Tom Clancy 's Rainbow Six. A few weeks after the release of the game Tom Clancy published a novel of the same name.

In 2000, Red Storm Entertainment by Ubisoft was bought. After the Leaving of Little Johns Steve Reid is the head of the subsidiary.
