Uchinomi (Kagawa)
Uchinomi (Japanese内海 町, -chō ) was a town in the ShoZu -gun in Japanese Kagawa Prefecture on the island of Shodoshima in Japanese Inland Sea.
History
Uchinomi was established on April 1, 1951 through the merger of Chō Kusakabe (草 壁 町, chō ) with the Mura and Son Nishi (西村, -mura ), Noma (苗 羽 村, -son ), Sakate (坂 手 村, -mura ) and Yasuda (安 田村, -mura ) in the ShoZu -gun. On March 31, 1957, the Son Fukuda (福田 村, -son ) was incorporated.
On 21 March 2006 Uchinomi was merged with Ikeda to the new Chō Shodoshima (小豆 岛 町, -chō ).
