Udarser Wiek

The Udarser Wiek is about 8 km ² large lagoon -like bay of the Baltic Sea between the islands of Rügen in the north and in the south Ummanz. To the west of Bodden goes into Schaproder Bodden and to the southeast by the Gahlitz in the Koselower lake. At the northeast end of the bay is the island Öhe.

The Udarser Wiek is very shallow (generally less than 1.5 meters).

The bay was named after lying on Rügen district Schaproder Udars. The lagoon is part of the National Park Boddenlandscape and he belongs to the West Rügen Bodden.
