Uganda Securities Exchange

The Stock Exchange of Uganda (English Uganda Securities Exchange, USE) is the stock exchange of Uganda based in Kampala. The stock is currently trading securities nine, two of which are also traded on other stock exchanges. This makes it one of the smallest markets in Africa. Floor trading takes place two days a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

The stock market index USE All Share Index was launched on 23 October 2003. Since January 15th 2004 Treasury of the Ugandan State as listed.

The stock market in June 1997, Uganda received the approval of the competent authority "Capital Markets Authority ." In January 1998, the trading began. First -listed securities was that the East African Development Bank.
