Ugo Rossi

Ugo Rossi ( * May 29, 1963 in Milan ) is an Italian politician ( Partito Autonomous Ista Trentino Tirolese ) and since 2013 the Trentino provincial governor.

Life

Rossi grew up with his from Ossana (Val di Sole ) parents originating in Milan, moved to his study of law, however, the Trentino, the home of the parents. There he first worked in the insurance industry and for the company that operates the railway line Trento -Marilleva.

In 1999, Rossi joined the Trentino regional party Partito Autonomous Ista Trentino Tirolese whose Segretario he was 2003-2012. After the victory of the center-left coalition in elections to the Landtag Trentino 2008 Rossi became the head of Health and Welfare.

In the subsequent parliamentary elections on October 27, 2013 Rossi's coalition won under his leadership 58 % of the vote, and he was elected for five years Trentino provincial governor (Italian Presidente della Provincia Autonoma di Trento). The vacant since the retirement of longtime incumbent Lorenzo Dellai in December 2012 he entered office on 9 November 2013.
