History

The Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma was established on December 5, 1983 by Pope John Paul II annexations of archeparchy Philadelphia and this assumed as suffragan. The diocese includes the U.S. states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
