Ulrich " Uli " Stein ( born October 23, 1954 in Hamburg ) is a former German footballer and current goalkeeper coach.

Club career

Uli Stein played as a goalkeeper 1978-1997 512 times in the Bundesliga, 133 times in the Bundesliga 2 and 57 times in various European cup competitions. With 645 inserts in the top two divisions it is so that the player with the most stakes in German professional football.

His professional career began in 1976 with Arminia Bielefeld, he then joined Hamburger SV ( 1980-1987 ).
