Último Dragón

Yoshihiro Asai ( born December 12, 1966 in Nagoya, Aichi ), better known as Último Dragón, is a Japanese professional wrestler. In addition to his training in Japan, Asai learned the Lucha Libre Wrestling in style in Mexico.

Career

Beginnings in Japan

Asai trained in NJPW dojo and made his debut in 1987 at New Japan Pro Wrestling ( NJPW ) as Último Dragón. He then worked in the Japanese independent wrestling scene (eg Super World Sports or Wrestle Association -R ). Due to its small size, he went to Mexico to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, where he debuted in November 1991. In Mexico, Asai learned the Lucha Libre style.

Japan / America

Asai occurred both in Mexico and in Japan (also in New Japan Pro-Wrestling ). In NJPW Asai won on November 22, 1992 IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title. In Wrestle Association -R he formed together with the current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio a tag team.

In September 2002, Asai returned to the wrestling business.

In May 2003, Asai denied several dark matches for World Wrestling Entertainment ( WWE). In June, he signed a contract with the WWE. His contract expired in April 2004 and was not renewed.

Independent
