Ulungur River

The Urungu (or Ulungur, Chinese乌伦 古河, Pinyin Wūlúngǔ hé, in the upper reaches of Mongolia Bulgan Gol ) is a river in the Chinese Dzungaria, which rises on the southern slope of the Kok Tschurek Mountains, an eastern branch of the Altai Mountains in the west in the Mongolia in three source rivers and flowing south to the lakes Tsaghan - Nor and Tsi- tsik -Nor, then until he turns in a wide arc to the northwest and flows through ( almost parallel to the well 50 km north extending the Black Irtysh ) a barren area, located after 600 km in length running in 100 m wide mouth in the south-eastern tip of the Ulungursees (now at normal water level, a separate lake, Jili Lake) flows. The Urungu is very rich in fish, but will only drive in the lower course of fishing boats and of these only at certain times.
